EDUCATION: Formed in His Communion



St. Ambrose offers  religious education for youth in grades K-High School on Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:45AM in the parish school building. Classes run from September 10, 2017 through May 20, 2018. Please register early as classes tend to fill up quickly!

Registration is now open and classes are being scheduled for the 2017/2018 year. Payment must accompany registration and registration is not complete without payment. Payment  can be made in one of two ways:

1. Payment  by cash/check: Click HERE to download the registration form, fill it out, make check payable to St. Ambrose and drop it off in the basket at church or at the parish office. 

2. Payment  through Faith Direct. People may log into their account or create a new account by clicking HERE. In addition, you MUST  also fill out a registration form and send it into the Religious Education office. Click HERE for form.

Rite of Christian Initation for Children (RCIC)

Sacramental preparation for older students who have not received First Penance, First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation at the customary age (2nd grade for First Reconciliation/First Communion and 8th grade for Confirmation), in addition to Sunday morning classes, are to be enrolled in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIC) program.

For RCIC students the classes are on Monday evenings in the Parish Library from 7-8 pm.

While your youth is in Religious Education class, all parents and adult parishioners are welcome to join us in the school gym for a cup of coffee and faith discussion.

St. Ambrose is always looking for volunteers to teach or substitute for the Religious Education classes on Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:45 am.
